Digital storytelling affords learners the opportunity to use their target language across modalities and skills, while also exploring identity, culture, and authentic material. By becoming both curators and creators of narratives in their target language, they gain motivation while building essential digital literacy skills.

In this workshop, we’ll take a look at several free tools for digital storytelling projects, and share ideas for empowering learners to tell and share stories in their target language.
